Training of personnel working for petroleum industry is one of the most important activities of our company. This is why was created PLANET PETROLEUM, the support of a computer assisted multidisciplinary seminar.
Made to facilitate inter-professional integration, understanding of the creation of values by the oil companies and other industry actors, it is also useful for share holders and any other persons needing to have a good overview of the topic.
Many basic parameters of each step of the Exploration & Production process are apprehended in sequence by exploiting the E-Manual (the theoretical part) of the Planet Petroleum DVD, whilst the use of the Computer Business Simulation (the knowledge application part) makes the trainees manage their own Oil Companies.
The trainees are permanently questioned after each E-Manual chapter presentation to know the points to clarify; and during the Business Simulation to make the players re-think and apply their new knowledge.
- Day 1: Introduction, Actors, Simulation, Geology, Geophysics.
- Day 2: Drilling, Simulation, Development, Simulation.
- Day 3: Production, Simulation (competition between trainees).
- Day 4: Strategies, Simulation (competition), Results and comments of the competitors, discussion of used strategies, Conclusions.
